We spent the day at Edinburgh Castle. The castle is on the top of an extinct volcano. The site was chosen since it gives a view of the entire area. The castle was built in the 11th century and has been used as a military garrison (it is still an active military base), royal residence and jail.
We will be there on Wednesday!!!
