Summer 2022 part 1

Wow. Things have been crazy. We were planning on leaving Las Vegas the end of April, but David was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. After many tests it was determined that the cancer was localized (had not spread to the lymph nodes or bones). He had 28 radiation treatments, the last one was today.

Day 1 6/14.

We left Las Vegas at 10:15 am today and arrived at our destination in Arizona at about 4:30 pm. We are staying at Distant Drums RV Resort in Camp Verde (just outside Sedona). We will have lunch or dinner with Dave’s cousin tomorrow.

I 40 east had lots of construction and the road was bad! I 17 south was even worse!

Hopefully we will go to Montezuma’s Castle, Montezuma’s Well, and or Tuzigoot National Monument tomorrow.

  1. Hey Judy good to hear from you guys glad Dave and you are doing well. In case you didn’t know there’s a train out of Clarkesville that is kind of interesting it follows a canyon up there for several miles You should check it out , if you like train’s it’s a lot of fun.

  2. Hi! Sedona is an amazing area. We went to Montezuma’s places. I liked the well the best. We went below it and I put my feet in the stream.

We are so glad that Dave is over with his treatments and doing fine.

    Have a safe trip!
